In the first half of the year Hunan textile industry grew 9.9%

In the first half of the year, the added value of the above-scale textile industry in Hunan increased by 9.9% year-on-year, 0.4% lower than the provincial average industrial level. In June, the added value of the textile industry increased by 11.9% year-on-year, which was 2.0 percentage points higher than the provincial average industrial level and 3.0 percentage points higher than that of May.

In terms of different industries, the cumulative value of chemical fiber manufacturing increased by 19.3%, 9.4 percentage points higher than that of the textile industry, 9.0 percentage points higher than the average industrial scale of the province, and 14.0% cumulative growth rate of the textile, apparel and apparel industries. The textile industry was 4.1% higher, which was 3.7 percentage points higher than the provincial average industrial scale. The textile industry grew by 8.4%, 1.5 percentage points lower than that of the textile industry and 1.9 percentage points lower than the provincial average industrial level.

In the first half of the year, the province’s large-scale industrial apparel output was 120 million pieces, an increase of 29.4% year-on-year; chemical fibers were 19,400 tons, an increase of 23.0%; yarns were 485,500 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 2.4%; cloth 150 million meters, a decrease of 7.0%.
