Summary
The present invention provides an apparatus and method for transferring a glass substrate. The apparatus includes: a gas supply device that supplies a gas; a spray plate having a plurality of injection holes through which the gas is ejected; and a blocking plate that partially blocks the ejection from the plurality of injection holes gas. According to the present invention, since the glass substrate is not conveyed by physical contact with any device such as a roller, it is possible to prevent the glass substrate from being contaminated by the particles. Moreover, since the gas continuously suspends the glass substrate in the air, the glass substrate does not tilt during the transfer.
